Hyperlipidemia Aggravates Alveolar Bone Loss via Periodontal Ligament Stem Cell Ferroptosis Through GSK3β Dependent Ubiquitin‐Mediated NRF2 Degradation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Lipid metabolic stress triggers ferroptosis in PDLSCs through the GSK3β/NRF2 pathway, thereby aggravating periodontal bone loss. Upregulated GSK3β promotes NRF2 ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation via β‐TrCP, suppressing NRF2 nuclear translocation and antioxidant target expression.

Different genes interact with particulate matter and tobacco smoke exposure in affecting lung function decline in the general population [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
BACKGROUND: Oxidative stress related genes modify the effects of ambient air pollution or tobacco smoking on lung function decline. The impact of interactions might be substantial, but previous studies mostly focused on main effects of single genes ...

Preparation, Component Identification, and Antioxidant Activity of Anthocyanins From Punica granatum “Tunisia”

open access: yesAgriFood: Journal of Agricultural Products for Food, EarlyView.
The preparation for Tunisian pomegranate anthocyanin extract. The molecular mechanisms underlying the antioxidant effects of these compounds were investigated using network pharmacology and molecular docking. Antioxidant activity was evaluated through DPPH, ABTS, and FRAP assays, whereas the effects on oxidative stress and inflammation were examined in

Myo‐Inositol Mitigates Oxidative Stress in Bovine Mammary Epithelial Cells via Activation of the SIRT5/Nrf2 Signaling Axis

open access: yesAnimal Research and One Health, EarlyView.
Myo‐inositol alleviates oxidative stress in dairy cow mammary epithelial cells via the Sirt5/Nrf2 pathway to promote mitochondrial fusion. This graphical abstract was created with BioRender.com. ABSTRACT High‐yielding dairy cows are susceptible to mammary gland oxidative stress due to prolonged intensive lactation, leading to redox imbalance.
