Case Report: A de novo NR2F1 mutation and clinical characteristics of Bosch–Boonstra–Schaaf optic atrophy syndrome in a Chinese patient [PDF]
PurposeThis study aimed to report the clinical characteristics, genetic findings, and treatment outcomes of a Chinese patient with Bosch–Boonstra–Schaaf optic atrophy syndrome (BBSOAS) caused by a mutation in the NR2F1 gene.MethodA retrospective chart ...

A review on the role of NR2F1-AS1 in the development of cancer
NR2F1-AS1 is a natural antisense transcript with prominent roles in the carcinogenesis. It acts as an oncogene in almost all types of cancers except for cervical and colorectal cancers. It can act as a molecular sponge for miR-17, miR-371a-3p, miR-363, miR-29a-3p, miR-493-5p, miR-190a, miR-140, miR-642a, miR-363, miR-493-5p, miR-483-3p, miR-485-5p, miR-

Abstract Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are RNA transcripts longer than 200 nucleotides lacking protein-coding potential, which are involved in diverse pathophysiologic conditions including cancer progression and metastasis. Metastasis is initiated by a cellular process, epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition (EMT), and many lncRNAs can be

NR2F1-AS1 Acts as an Oncogene in Breast Cancer by Competitively Binding with miR-641 [PDF]
Background. Long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) NR2F1-AS1 has been previously reported to be dysregulated in human cancers and implicated in the tumorigenesis and development of tumors. In this research, we detected the expression level and biological function of NR2F1-AS1 in breast cancer (BC). Methods. The expression of NR2F1-AS1 in BC tissues and cell lines

An NR2F1-specific agonist suppresses metastasis by inducing cancer cell dormancy
We describe the discovery of an agonist of the nuclear receptor NR2F1 that specifically activates dormancy programs in malignant cells. The agonist led to a self-regulated increase in NR2F1 mRNA and protein and downstream transcription of a novel dormancy program.

NR2F1 is a barrier to dissemination of early-evolved mammary cancer cells [PDF]
S ummary Cancer cells disseminate during very early and sometimes asymptomatic stages of tumor progression. Granted that biological barriers to tumorigenesis exist, there must also be limiting steps to early dissemination, all of which remain largely unknown.
