Prevention against diffuse spinal cord astrocytoma: can the Notch pathway be a novel treatment target?

open access: yesNeural Regeneration Research, 2015
This study was designed to investigate whether the Notch pathway is involved in the development of diffuse spinal cord astrocytomas. BALB/c nude mice received injections of CD133 + and CD133− cell suspensions prepared using human recurrent diffuse spinal

MicroRNA-9 promotes the neuronal differentiation of rat bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells by activating autophagy

open access: yesNeural Regeneration Research, 2015
MicroRNA-9 (miR-9) has been shown to promote the differentiation of bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells into neuronal cells, but the precise mechanism is unclear.

Right lower limb apraxia in a patient with left supplementary motor area infarction: intactness of the corticospinal tract confirmed by transcranial magnetic stimulation

open access: yesNeural Regeneration Research, 2015
We reported a 50-year-old female patient with left supplementary motor area infarction who presented right lower limb apraxia and investigated the possible causes using transcranial magnetic stimulation.

Non-perturbative renormalization of overlap quark bilinears on domain wall fermion configurations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We present renormalization constants of overlap quark bilinear operators on 2+1-flavor domain wall fermion configurations. Both overlap and domain wall fermions have chiral symmetry on the lattice.

Neutron-antineutron oscillations in the deuteron studied with NN and N̄N interactions based on chiral effective field theory This work is supported in part by the DFG and the NSFC through funds provided to the Sino-German CRC 110 "Symmetries and the Emergence of Structure in QCD" (DFG grant. no. TRR 110) and the VolkswagenStiftung (93562). The work of UGM was supported in part by The Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) President's International Fellowship Initiative (PIFI) (2018DM0034)

open access: yesChinese Physics, 2020
Neutron-antineutron ( ) oscillations in the deuteron are considered. Specifically, the deuteron lifetime is calculated in terms of the free-space oscillation time based on and interactions derived within chiral effective field theory (EFT). This results in s, which is close to the value obtained by Dover and collaborators more than three decades ago ...

X(16.7) as the solution of the NuTeV anomalyThis work was supported in part by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China (2015CB856703), by by the Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (XDB23030000), and by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) under the grant 11375200

open access: yesChinese Physics C, 2017
A recent experimental study of excited 8Be decay to its ground state revealed an anomaly in the angular distribution of the final states. This exceptional result is attributed to a new vector gauge boson X(16.7). We study the significance of this new boson, especially its effect in anomalies observed in long-lasting experimental measurements.
