Multimodal Data‐Driven Microstructure Characterization
A self‐consistent autonomous workflow for EBSP‐based microstructure segmentation by integrating PCA, GMM clustering, and cNMF with information‐theoretic parameter selection, requiring no user input. An optimal ROI size related to characteristic grain size is identified.

Translational control by the multi-KH domain protein Scp160 [PDF]
The control of mRNA translation mediated by RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) is a key player in modulating gene expression. In S. cerevisiae, the multi-KH domain protein Scp160 associates with a large number of mRNAs and is present on membrane-bound and, to a

A Lightweight Procedural Layer for Hybrid Experimental–Computational Workflows in Materials Science
We unveil a prototype hybrid‐workflow framework that fuses automatedcomputation with hands‐on experiments. Built atop pyiron, a lightweight, parameterized layer translates procedure descriptions into executable manual steps, syncing instrument settings, human interventions, and data capture in real‐time today.

Novel Nuclear Partnering Role of EPS8 With FOXM1 in Regulating Cell Proliferation
One hallmark of cancer cells is sustaining proliferative signaling that leads to uncontrolled cell proliferation. Both the Forkhead box (FOX) M1 transcription factor and the Epidermal Growth Factor (EGF) receptor Pathway Substrate 8 (EPS8) are known to ...

Morbilliviruses, which belong to the Mononegavirales, replicate its RNA genome in the cytoplasm of the host cell. However, they also form characteristic intranuclear inclusion bodies, consisting of nucleoprotein (N), in infected cells. To analyze the mechanisms of nucleocytoplasmic transport of N protein, we characterized the nuclear localization (NLS)

Fine-Tuning of Shh/Gli Signaling Gradient by Non-proteolytic Ubiquitination during Neural Patterning
Summary: Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) signaling plays crucial roles in patterning the ventral neural tube, which is transformed into opposing gradients of repressor and activator forms of Glis. Here, we show that the fine-tuning of the shape of the Gli gradients

An Engineered Living Material With Pro‐Angiogenic Activity Inducible by Near‐Infrared Light
NIR‐responsive engineered living materials (ELMs) for controlled angiogenesis: Near‐infrared (800 nm) light activates engineered probiotic bacteria within alginate‐based living materials to secrete a blood vessel‐regenerating protein. The released protein promotes pro‐angiogenic effects in endothelial networks and chick chorioallantoic membranes.
