A continual model of damaged media for describing the creep failure process
The main laws of deformation and degradation processes of the initial strength properties of structural materials (metals and their alloys) according to the long-term strength mechanism were considered.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Numerical Experiments in Collisionless Systems [PDF]
Gravitational n-body calculations handling 105 particles have become routine in the last three or four years. The plasma physicists have also run calculations with comparable numbers of particles – you will hear of these from Dawson this afternoon. In the stellar dynamics area, two groups have been making these calculations – our own group with Kevin ...

Investigation of physiological pulsatile flow in a model arterial stenosis using large-eddy and direct numerical simulations [PDF]
Physiologicalpulsatileflow in a 3D model of arterialstenosis is investigated by using largeeddysimulation (LES) technique. The computational domain chosen is a simple channel with a biological type stenosis formed eccentrically on the top wall.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Numerical study of the influence of Geometrical Parameters on flow in water Pump-Sump [PDF]
Water for irrigation, domestic and industrial supply as well for some power generation is normally drawn directly from rivers or from reservoir through sumps.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
