OAK WOOD APPLICATION IN THE COOPERAGE. INFLUENCE OF OAK SPECIES AND WOOD SEASONING ON THE OAK EXTRACTIVES AND AROMA COMPOUND

Oak wood samples from two species (Q. petraea and Q.frainetto) derived from east part of Bulgaria were collected. The pieces with the same size were formed from every sample and were undergoing on artificial cooperage seasoning. Non seasoned controls were formed for all samples.
