Utilizing Open Educational Resources (OER) and Introducing OER-Enabled Pedagogies (OEP) in a First-Year Composition Classroom at a Historically Black College or University

open access: yes, 2023
In the context of a first-year composition course at an HBCU, I explored the potential of Open Educational Resources (OER) and OER-Enabled Pedagogy (OEP) to better understand how the resources and the pedagogical practices surrounding their use might ...

Modulating Metal–Oxygen Bond Energy by Valence State Engineering in 2D High Entropy Oxides for Enhanced Water Electrolysis

open access: yesCarbon Energy, Volume 8, Issue 3, March 2026.
The competitive redox equilibrium among different elements in 2D HEO is regulated through temperature‐controlled pyrolysis of 2D HEHO, obtaining 2D HEO with a continuously adjustable valence state of Fe, Ni, Mo, Ru, and V elements, which modulate the strength of the metal–O bond and activate the LOM‐OVSM for OER.

Carbon‐Assisted Electrolytic Hydrogen Production: Investigation of the High‐Performance Fe‐N‐C Structured Biochar Catalyst

open access: yesChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.
Based on this, this study selects pine wood powder as the carbon source to construct FeNC structured biochar anodes for carbon‐assisted water electrolysis (CAWE) hydrogen production. By regulating pyrolysis temperature and Fe/N doping ratio, the electronic structure and porous morphology are optimized, significantly reducing the carbon oxidation ...
