Toward Chromoselective Transformations in Biological Systems: Perspectives and Challenges
Controlling biological systems with small‐molecule chromophores has evolved into a powerful strategy and is applied from chemical biology to medicine. However, the complexity of in vivo systems cannot be matched by a single wavelength of light. Developing methods to combine and individually control multiple chromophores is crucial.

Increased liver content of DHA‐derived small lipid autacoids (i.e resolvin D1 and maresin 1) associates with enhanced mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation, fatty acid β‐oxidation and bioenergetic metabolic flux. These features provide hepatic protection from steatotic, pro‐inflammatory and fibrogenic insults.

Pracaxi Oil as a Potential Inhibitor of Fat Bloom
ABSTRACT Fat bloom is one of the major technological challenges faced by the chocolate industry, caused by the polymorphic transition from β2(V) to β1(VI) crystals in cocoa butter (CB). One strategy to slow down this polymorphic transition is the addition of lipids rich in very long chain fatty acids (VLCFA), such as behenic acid.
