Decoupling Li+ Transport in Self‐Healing Polymer Dual‐Salt Electrolytes for Room Temperature Lithium Metal Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A self‐healable polymer matrix, crosslinked via dynamic imine bonds, is synergistically coupled with a LiPF6–LiDFOB dual‐salt system to decouple Li+ from the polymer matrix, enabling fast Li+ transport. This strategy offers an effective pathway toward high‐performance, next‐generation gel‐polymer‐based Li‐metal batteries.

Protein kinase C activation downregulates human organic anion transporter 1-mediated transport through carrier internalization

open access: yes, 2003
Organic anion transport in intact renal proximal tubule cells in animal model systems is downregulated by treatments that activate protein kinase C (PKC). How this downregulation is achieved is not yet known.

Magneto‐Ionic Devices With Polymer‐Based Electrolytes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Polymer electrolytes are introduced for magneto‐ionic devices based on hydroxide and hydrogen ions. The magneto‐ionic effect results in a pronounced voltage‐controlled variation of coercivity in both devices. The switching speed is in the range of 100 ms.

EXPRESSION STUDIES AND FUNCTIONAL CHARACTERIZATION OF RENAL HUMAN ORGANIC ANION TRANSPORTER 1 ISOFORMS

open access: yesDrug Metabolism and Disposition, 2004
The human organic anion transporter 1 (hOAT1) facilitates the basolateral entry of organic anions such as endogenous metabolites, xenobiotics, and drugs into the proximal tubule cells. In the present study we investigated the general occurrence of hOAT1 isoforms in the kidneys and performed functional characterizations.

The activity of organic anion transporter-3: Role of dexamethasone

open access: yes, 2018
Human organic anion transporter-3 (hOAT3) is richly expressed in the kidney, where it plays critical roles in the secretion, from the blood to urine, of clinically important drugs, such as anti-viral therapeutics, anti-cancer drugs, antibiotics ...

Neuromorphic Devices for Extreme Environments: State‐Variable Reliability and Stabilization Strategies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Neuromorphic devices for extreme environments are interpreted through the physical states that store and process information. Radiation, temperature extremes, and vacuum can perturb vacancies, filaments, trapped charges, polarization, interfaces, and readout signals.

Mouse Organic Anion Transporter 2 (mOat2) Mediates the Transport of Short Chain Fatty Acid Propionate

open access: yes, 2008
In this study, we have elucidated that propionate, one of the short chain fatty acids (SCFAs), is the transport substrate for murine organic anion transporter 2 (mOat2), which is expressed in the kidneys and the liver.

Programming Neuromorphic Plasticity Through Ionic and Electronic Coupling in Organic Electrochemical Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Neuromorphic plasticity in OECTs is governed by the post‐stimulus evolution of coupled ionic and electronic states. Semiconductor chemistry and morphology, electrolyte composition and interfaces, and device architecture regulate ion injection, transport, confinement, and release, shifting responses from rapidly relaxing STP to metastable memory and ...
