Proposition structure in framed decision problems: A formal representation. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2007
Framing effects, which may induce decision-makers to demonstrate preference description invariance violation for logically equivalent options varying in semantic emphasis, are an economically significant decision bias and an active area of research ...

A Super‐Adhesive Air Filter With Capillarity‐Mediated Spontaneous Particle Absorption via Dynamic Bond Exchange

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We address the inherently weak particle adhesion of conventional air filters by coating a dynamically crosslinked adhesive layer that delivers capillarity‐driven strong adhesion and particle absorption mediated by dynamic bond exchange. The resulting enhancement in particle adhesion enables efficient ultrafast (up to 20 m s−1) and omnidirectional ...

The effect of organizational characteristics on organizational attractiveness: The moderating role of personality

open access: yes, 2020
Bu çalışmanın amacı örgüt-kişi uyum kuramından yola çıkarak bireylerin kişilik özelliklerinin örğütsel çekicilik üzerindeki etkisi incelenmektir.Günümüzde firmalar en uygun ve uyumlu elemanları kendilerine çekmeye çalışıyorlar. Bundan dolayı örgütsel çekicilik gibi kavramlar önem kazanmaktadır.

Nanomaterial Integration at Liquid–Liquid Interfaces for Green Catalysis

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Functional nanomaterials assembled at liquid–liquid interfaces create dual‐role platforms serving as emulsion stabilizers and catalytic sites, offering enhanced reaction kinetics with improved catalyst recovery and recyclability. This review examines design strategies, structure‐performance relationships, and industrial implementation prospects of ...

May the Best (Looking) Man Win: The Unconscious Role of Attractiveness in Employment Decisions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
[Excerpt] In 1972, Karen Dion, Ellen Berscheid, and Elaine Walster set out to determine whether people hold “stereotyped notions of the personality traits possessed by individuals of varying attractiveness.” The results of the study were astonishing ...

Magnetically Actuated Drops‐on‐Stilts Microrobots for Transport and Delivery of Hydrophobic Cargo

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Iron oxide nanoparticles and oil droplets in external magnetic fields form “drops‐on‐stilts” microrobots that transport hydrophobic cargo. Tunable nanoparticle–droplet interactions generate stilt‐like structures. Field rotation enables walking, obstacle navigation, and collective motion.

Water‐Stable Paper‐Based Laser‐Induced Graphene With Asymmetric Water Adhesion and Wettability

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Paper‐based electronics are attractive for sustainable and disposable devices, but often fail in wet environments. By introducing Parafilm into cellulose paper combined with laser conversion, two graphene surfaces with different water interactions are created.

Topological Point Defects in SmC* Liquid Crystals Under Mechanical Disturbance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Tangetial air jet shear inducess island formation and nucleates topological point defects in uniform SmC films. Island bounded by edge dislocation loops shrink and transform into isolated point defects under continued shear. Mechanical perturbatio provides a controllable route for defect engineering in smectric liquid crystal thin films.

Nanozymes at the Bio‐Nano Interface: From Synthesis, Defect Engineering, Catalytic Behavior in Biological Microenvironments, and Biosafety Implications

open access: yesAdvanced Materials Interfaces, EarlyView.
Nanozymes (NZs) have emerged as versatile artificial enzymes with tunable catalytic properties driven by atomic coordination, defect engineering, and surface chemistry. This review presents a bio–nano interface framework linking synthesis strategies, structural design, and catalytic behavior within complex biological microenvironments.
