Food Sci NutrFerulago angulata essential oil (FAEO) contains monoterpenes such as α‐pinene, limonene, sabinene, and (Z)‐β‐ocimene, which contribute to its antimicrobial activity and moderate antioxidant properties. Incorporation of FAEO into biopolymer‐based films and encapsulation systems can improve its stability, dispersion, and controlled release.
