Diselenide‐Catalyzed Asymmetric Allenylation of Alkynes
An asymmetric allenylation of alkynes is described using chiral lactamides‐based diselenides under oxidative conditions. This led to the corresponding allenylamides with enantiomeric excesses up to 72%, and uncovers an interesting stereodivergency feature related to the β‐H‐syn‐elimination of transient Se(IV) intermediates.

Enantioselective Growth of Chiral Serine‐Induced β‐Ag2Se Crystals from an Organoselenium Compound
Chiral amino acids direct the enantioselective crystallization of β‐Ag2Se nanocrystals from an organoselenium precursor. L‐ and D‐serine induce distinct morphologies and opposite homochiral adsorption preferences, transferring molecular handedness into the inorganic lattice.

Next‐Generation Antioxidant Strategies: From Nanoformulations to Gene‐Targeted Therapies
ABSTRACT Antioxidants play a pivotal role in neutralizing oxidative stress, a key factor in aging and chronic diseases such as cancer, cardiovascular disorders, and neurodegeneration. Although traditional antioxidants such as vitamins C and E, polyphenols, and endogenous enzymes have shown efficacy in laboratory and clinical studies, their therapeutic ...

Crystal structure of 1-{2-[(2-methoxyphenyl)selanyl]phenyl}-4-phenyl-1H-1,2,3-triazole
In the title compound, C21H17N3OSe, the dihedral angles between the central five-membered ring and the C- and N-bound rings are 17.89 (10) and 42.35 (10)°, respectively, indicating the molecule is twisted. The dihedral angle between the Se-bound rings is

Various unsymmetric bis(heteroaryl) selenides are synthesized by the rhodium‐catalyzed exchange reaction of heteroaryl fluorides and ethers with Se‐heteroaryl 1‐adamatanecarboselenoates. The synthetic method is applicable to a broad range of five‐ and six‐membered heteroaryl derivatives and provides compounds containing multiple heteroatoms.
