LZTS2 Negatively Regulates Centrosomal CEP135 Levels and Microtubule Nucleation

open access: yesCytoskeleton, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The microtubule cytoskeleton is a fundamental functional component of the cell. In vertebrate proliferating cells, centrosomes are the primary microtubule organizing center (MTOC), and their dysregulation has been linked to genomic instability and cancer.

Rodent monocyte‐derived macrophages do not express CD163: Comparative analysis using macrophages from living boreoeutherians

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Background CD163 is a scavenger receptor predominantly expressed on the surfaces of macrophages in various mammalian species and is a marker of anti‐inflammatory (M2‐like) macrophages. High density of CD163‐positive tumor‐associated macrophages (TAMs) is associated with worse prognosis in various patient tumors.

Autophagy‐Targeting Nanomedicine: Strike at the Heart of the Cancer via Precise Modulation of Autophagy

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
This review emphasizes the critical role of autophagy in cancer treatment, highlighting the development of autophagy‐targeting nanomedicines and their applications in combination therapies. It explores how nanoplatforms can effectively regulate autophagy, underscoring the potential of integrating autophagy modulation with other treatment strategies to ...

Maternal Isoflavone‐S Improve Offspring Intestinal Homeostasis Through Maternal Metabolome–Microbiome Intestine Interactions in a Pig Model

open access: yesFood Frontiers, EarlyView.
Our results indicate that maternal ISO‐S during late gestation and throughout lactation can improve offspring intestinal homeostasis, which may be related to antioxidant enzymes and immunoglobulins in sow colostrum through maternal metabolome–microbiome intestine interactions.
