Molecular mechanisms of ovarian cancer prevention
Combined oral contraceptive pill (COCP) lowers the risk of ovarian cancer. The risk reduction has been reported as between 33 - 41%. The duration of use affects the risk reduction. The mechanism of risk reduction has been theorised. According to the incessant ovulation theory, repeated ovulation causes inflammation, which causes mutations and ...

A wet ball‐milling method is presented to synthesize iron magnetic nanoparticles and evaluate their magnetic hyperthermia performance. Optimized particles (∼270 nm, Ms ∼114 emu/g) achieve ∼50°C heating under clinically safe alternating magnetic fields, while pulsed‐field operation enables controlled temperature regulation (∼30°C).

Inferring individual attributes from search engine queries and auxiliary information
Internet data has surfaced as a primary source for investigation of different aspects of human behavior. A crucial step in such studies is finding a suitable cohort (i.e., a set of users) that shares a common trait of interest to researchers.

Aldosterone‐producing adenomas (APAs) develop via two distinct paths: directly from adrenal zona glomerulosa (zG) cells, or stepwise from zG cells through aldosterone‐producing micronodules (APMs) before progressing to APAs. Advanced single‐cell and spatial analyses identified distinct cell states linked to oxidative stress and cell–cell interactions ...
