RNA‐binding protein RBMS1: A new target for cancer diagnosis and treatment

This schematic illustrates the diverse regulatory roles of RNA‐binding motif single‐stranded interacting protein 1 (RBMS1) across multiple human cancers. In breast cancer, RBMS1 stabilizes B4GALT1 mRNA to promote PD‐L1 glycosylation, modulating tumor immune escape and immunotherapy efficacy.

Extragonadal germ cell tumors (EGCTs) are rare, with limited prospective data to guide treatment or inform prognosis. Incidence and treatment patterns of EGCT in Australia reflect international data and practices. Compared to testicular primaries, the prognosis of EGCT is poor, especially for primary mediastinal non‐seminoma.

Opioids in breast cancer: Between analgesia and modulation of tumour progression

Targeting Wnt3a and Loxl2 Synergistically Induces Ferroptosis in Liver Cancer Stem Cells and Suppresses Tumorigenesis

Using bioinformatic analysis, LCSC models, and transgenic mice, we demonstrate that co‐inhibition of Wnt3a and Loxl2 potently triggers ferroptosis and inhibits orthotopic liver tumorigenesis. The enhanced antitumor effect upon dual targeting, mediated through ZEB1 upregulation, highlights a promising combinatory approach against HCC.
