The effect of substance P1–7 amide on nociceptive threshold in diabetic mice
We previously demonstrated that intrathecal treatment with substance P metabolite substance P1-7 induced anti-hyperalgesia in diabetic mice. In the present study, we have used a synthetic analog of this peptide, the substance P1-7 amide, showing higher ...

Mechanically origami‐coded 3D kirigami photovoltaics convert a single extension–release cycle into deterministic self‐folding, reconfiguring planar solar cells into programmable 3D modules. Distinct coding strategies enable either ultrahigh stretchability (500% system strain) or ultrahigh initial effective areal coverage (225%).

P1 and P2 Purine and Pyrimidine Receptor Ligands
Research focused on P1 and P2 purinergic receptor function is currently at a critical stage where considerable efforts in the disciplines of medicinal chemistry, molecular biology, and pharmacology have resulted in the identification of a number of novel ligands that have been used to enhance understanding of the roles of both P1 (adenosine) and P2 ...

Effect of bacteriophage P1 lysogeny on lipopolysaccharide composition and the lambda receptor of Escherichia coli [PDF]
The outer membrane of Escherichia coli was altered as a consequence of lysogeny by bacteriophages P1 and P1 cmts. The predominant change was a reduction in the size of lipopolysaccharide to a heptose-deficient form. P1 cmts lysogens were still sensitive to several bacteriophages but were resistant to lambda vir.

Designable van der Waals Crystal for Artificial Neuronal Cell Mimicking
Designable van der Waals crystal has been demonstrated for device‐scale neuronal cell mimicking. The structural similarity between ion‐channel in biological membranes and layered vdW lattices is realized with nano‐crystallization via Ar + H2S plasma sulfurization.

Neuropeptide F regulates courtship in Drosophila through a male-specific neuronal circuit
Male courtship is provoked by perception of a potential mate. In addition, the likelihood and intensity of courtship are influenced by recent mating experience, which affects sexual drive.
