OMIP‐120: A 22‐Marker Spectral Flow Cytometry Panel for the Characterization of Major Immune Populations in Murine Bone Marrow and Osteosarcoma Tissue

open access: yesCytometry Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Tumors that develop in the bone exhibit poor responses to most treatment options, including advanced immunotherapies. Despite its immune‐rich composition, the bone marrow microenvironment often fails to suppress tumor progression and instead promotes tumor growth and immune evasion, although the underlying mechanisms remain poorly understood ...

Research progress and current status of dynamic wave propagation characteristics in rock mass: A review

open access: yesDeep Underground Science and Engineering, EarlyView.
This review elucidates the velocity–dispersion–attenuation coupling mechanisms of wave propagation in rock masses, compares six representative models, and reveals how pressure, temperature, mineral composition, and anisotropy jointly control dynamic responses in complex geological media.

The segregation of Calb1, Calb2, and Prph neurons reveals distinct and mixed neuronal populations and projections to hair cells in the inner ear and central nuclei

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Three populations of hair cells have a distinct expression of Calb1 and Calb2. (A, A′D) The central is highly positive for Calb1 while surrounding HC are positive for Calb2. Later, a calyx forms primarily with Calb1. (B, B′, D′, D″) Saccule and utricle start out positive for Calb2 but will upregulate the Calb1 in the striola that is primarily forming ...

Role of SoxE transcription factors in development and disease

open access: yesDevelopmental Dynamics, EarlyView.
Abstract Sox8, Sox9, and Sox10 arose by multiple rounds of genome duplications from a single SoxE gene in ancestral vertebrates. In this review, we will briefly discuss the molecular structure and function of SoxE transcription factors and their evolutionary origin. We will then discuss their expression, function, and developmental disorders.

Tick‐Tock, the Time Has Come: Leveraging TikTok to Understand, Prevent, and Treat Eating Disorders

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective TikTok—a highly engaging social media platform with a powerful algorithm that displays short videos—has become massively popular in recent years. As research highlights the concerning relationship between image‐based content on social media and disordered eating symptoms, TikTok may serve as an optimal platform to understand eating ...
