Point mutation of an RGD sequence in the human P2Y2 receptor to a QGD sequence conserves Go-mediated signal transduction [PDF]
only availableThe P2Y2 nucleotide receptor is a Go/q coupled receptor that is activated equipotently by extracellular nucleotides such as ATP or UTP and is upregulated in a variety of tissues in response to injury or stress.

ETV4 coordinates a dual transcriptional program by upregulating MET and asparagine synthetase (ASNS). The resulting asparagine (Asn) secretion acts as a metabolic signal, reprogramming hepatic stellate cells (HSCs) and primary cancer‐associated fibroblasts (CAFs) toward an inflammatory phenotype. These activated stromal cells release HGF to sustain the

TRIM25 acts as a multifunctional hub driving intervertebral disc degeneration under mechanical stress. Mechanical compression significantly upregulates TRIM25 expression, establishing it as a key E3 ubiquitin ligase platform. TRIM25 targets PARG and Ku80 via distinct molecular interfaces, triggering their ubiquitination and degradation.

Pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors frequently silence MEN1 through epigenetic mechanisms. Here, SIRT7 recruits DNMT1 to the MEN1 promoter, drives hypermethylation, and enhances DNA repair. Inhibiting SIRT7 restores MEN1, reduces MRN complex abundance, impairs double‐strand break repair, and sensitizes PanNET models to radiation, supporting SIRT7 as a ...

Macrophage Extracellular Traps in Immunity and Cancer
As a macrophage‐mediated innate defense mechanism, the dysregulated release of METs drives chronic inflammation and influences tumor progression. Furthermore, METs exhibit a functional duality within the tumor microenvironment, capable of both promoting and suppressing tumor development.
