Abstract Cyclodepsipeptides (CDPs) represent a huge family of chemically and structurally diverse molecules with a wide ability for molecular interactions. CDPs are cyclic peptide‐related natural products made up of both proteinogenic and nonproteinogenic amino acids linked by amide and ester bonds.

Carbohydrate structure of human pancreatic elastase 1 [PDF]
Human pancreatic elastase 1 (E1) is a glycoprotein containing two potential N-glycosylation sites, one of which carries a carbohydrate moiety [Wendorf, Geyer, Sziegoleit & Linder (1989) FEBS Lett. 249, 275-278]. In order to study its glycosylation, glycoprotein isolated from post-mortem pancreas tissue of 75 donors was digested with trypsin ...

Abstract Micronutrient uptake is impaired after pancreatico‐duodenectomy (PD) because of malabsorption, reduced absorptive capacity, and poor oral intake. Biochemical depletion is reported in cohort studies, but deficiency states are predominantly reported in case reports, making it difficult to assess occurrence rates.

Does pancreatic elastase-1 in stools predict steatorrhea in type 1 diabetes?
Areduction of exocrine pancreas function frequently occurs in type 1 diabetes (1), and its detection has been made easy by measurement of fecal pancreatic elastase-1 (PE-1) (2,3).

Differences in the Fecal Metabolome of Autoimmune Pancreatitis Patients
ABSTRACT Background Chronic pancreatitis is a risk factor for pancreatic cancer. Autoimmune pancreatitis is a unique form of chronic pancreatitis that is primarily characterized by its immune mediate etiology, clinically resembling pancreatic cancer, yet uniquely responsive to steroid treatment.
