Coixenolide Enhances Antitumor Immunity of Cytotoxic CD8+ T Cells by Inhibiting S100A8/A9‐CD36 Axis in Obesity‐Associated Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) remains highly lethal with limited treatment options. This study demonstrates that coixenolide, a bioactive compound from Coix lacryma‐jobi L. and a key component of the clinically approved Kanglaite injection, exhibits enhanced antitumor efficacy in high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced obese mice bearing PAAD tumors compared to

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease accelerates pancreatic cancer progression and metastasis via the macrophage migration inhibitory factor-CD44 axis

open access: yesSignal Transduction and Targeted Therapy
Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive malignancy with a poor prognosis, particularly in the presence of liver metastases. The mechanisms by which metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD), formerly known as

Mitochondria and Neuromast Tagging With Fluorescent Gallium‐Triapine Analogues: In Cellulo MP FLIM and Zebrafish Live Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Fluorescent BODIPY‐conjugated thiosemicarbazone ligands and their Ga(III), In(III), and Fe(III) complexes, inspired by Triapine, are developed as theranostic agents. Multiphoton FLIM and confocal microscopy in cancer cells and zebrafish reveal real‐time uptake, mitochondrial localisation, and whilst spectroscopic assays indicated preserved complex ...

Mitigating Cancer Therapy–Related Cognitive Impairment by Targeted Activation of Undruggable Phosphatase

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An RVG‑engineered exosomal saRNA delivery system (RVG‑EVs‑saPtpro) effectively targets and activates hippocampal PTPRO, functioning as a “molecular brake” to alleviate cancer therapy‑related cognitive impairment (CTRCI) by enhancing neuronal survival, neurogenesis, and synaptic plasticity.

Bifidobacterium Pseudolongum‐Derived Inosine Mitigates Polystyrene Nanoplastics‐Induced Hepatic Injury by Inhibiting the Polarization of M1 Macrophages

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Probiotic B.p colonization elevated gut‐derived inosine level in the liver, while elevated inosine activated A2AR and subsequently blocked NPs‐induced polarization of M1 macrophages by repressing the miR155/SOCS1/NF‐κB pathway. This reduced the release of inflammatory cytokines and thereby, mitigated NPs‐induced hepatic injury.

Pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor stimulates the growth of rat pancreatic carcinoma cells [PDF]

open access: yes, 1990
Pancreatic secretory trypsin inhibitor was examined for growth-promoting activity on five cell lines using standard cell culture techniques. One cell line, AR4-2J, derived from a rat pancreatic acinar cell carcinoma, responded with significantly ...
