Hyperpolarization chemistry based on reversible exchange of parahydrogen, also known as Signal Amplification By Reversible Exchange (SABRE), is a particularly simple approach to attain high levels of nuclear spin hyperpolarization, which can enhance NMR ...

Heterogeneous Parahydrogen Pairwise Addition to Cyclopropane [PDF]
AbstractHyperpolarized gases revolutionize functional pulmonary imaging. Hyperpolarized propane is a promising emerging contrast agent for pulmonary MRI. Unlike hyperpolarized noble gases, proton‐hyperpolarized propane gas can be imaged using conventional MRI scanners with proton imaging capability.

Diazirines are three‐membered, nitrogen‐containing heterocycles that decompose under light or heat to generate carbenes. For the past two decades, they have served mainly as minimally invasive tags in photoaffinity labeling (PAL). More recently, their value as versatile carbene precursors has been recognized.

Hyperpolarization of Molecular Deuterium
Hyperpolarized molecular deuterium is generated and detected using a nonhydrogenative SABRE catalyst with nicotinamide. The resonance shows a strongly enhanced partially negative line, substrate‐dependent and sensitive to transient intermediates.

Long nuclear spin coherence times for molecules trapped in high-purity solid parahydrogen
We measure the ensemble transverse relaxation time (T_{2}^{*}) and spin-echo coherence time (T_{2}) of the proton spin of HD molecules trapped in solid parahydrogen.
