Cardiovascular Risk of Romosozumab vs. Teriparatide: A Cohort Study Using Japan’s National Claims Database

open access: yesClinical Pharmacology &Therapeutics, Volume 119, Issue 3, Page 721-728, March 2026.
Disproportionality analyses suggested a cardiovascular risk signal for romosozumab, while statistically significant associations were not found in the real‐world database studies. Therefore, a larger comparative study was necessary to examine this signal.

Identification of chromosome‐specific simple sequence repeat markers to characterize the Langdon durum D‐genome disomic substitution lines

open access: yesCrop Science, Volume 66, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
Abstract Genetic studies of durum wheat (Triticum turgidum L. ssp. durum [Desf.] Husnot.) provide valuable information for crop improvement. In the 1980s, D‐genome disomic chromosome substitution (DS) lines were developed, which involved the substitution of a pair of D‐genome chromosomes from hexaploid wheat (T.

Co‐Occurring Weight‐ and/or Shape‐Motivated Restriction in 5747 Adults With Probable Avoidant/Restrictive Food Intake Disorder

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, Volume 59, Issue 3, Page 560-573, March 2026.
ABSTRACT Objective According to DSM‐5‐TR, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID) cannot be diagnosed alongside anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), or any other body image disturbance. This does not accurately reflect real‐world symptomatology and recent research, indicating the potential need to revise DSM‐5‐TR Criteria.

Who needs closure? Estimating abundance with a Markovian availability model for geographically open removal sampling

open access: yesEcology, Volume 107, Issue 3, March 2026.
Abstract Removal sampling is an important method for estimating abundance, but nearly all removal models assume closure during sampling. Yet, closure may be difficult to assume, evaluate, or enforce in many settings. To address situations where populations are geographically open between each removal sample, we incorporated a Markovian availability ...
