PAX9 Overexpression in Lung Adenocarcinoma and Promotes Cancer Progression

ICBBT
Paired box 9 (PAX9) is a transcription factor of the PAX family functioning as both a transcriptional activator and a repressor. At this stage it has been demonstrated that the PAX9 gene is a key gene in embryonic development, but its function in a ...

Abstract P50: PAX9 Activates Cell Death via Autophagic Degradation of EGFR in Oral squamous Cell Carcinoma

Cancer Research
PAired boX 9 (PAX9) gene belongs to the PAX family and is critically essential for physiology and development. It has a significant role in maintaining squamous cell differentiation, and its downregulation is associated with tumor initiation and ...

[Identification of mutation in PAX9 gene in a Mongolian family with non-syndromic oligodontia].

Zhonghua kou qiang yi xue za zhi = Zhonghua kouqiang yixue zazhi = Chinese journal of stomatology, 2014
To investigate the mutation in transcription factor paired box gene PAX9 in a mongolian family with non-syndromic oligodontia.Peripheral blood was collected from 17 core family members (9 unaffected, 8 affected) in this Mongolian family with non-syndromic oligodontia. Mutation in exons of PAX9 gene was identified by PCR amplification and DNA sequencing.

Novel PAX9 gene polymorphisms and mutations and susceptibility to tooth agenesis in the Czech population.

Neuro endocrinology letters, 2016
Tooth agenesis is one of the most common developmental anomalies in humans. Genetic and environmental factors may be of etiological importance in this condition. Among genes involved in tooth morphogenesis, mutations in PAX9, MSX1, AXIN2, WNT10a, and EDA genes have been associated with tooth agenesis.
