Construction optimization and functional applications of fluorescent nanodiamonds

This review summarizes synthesis, surface modification and optical properties of fluorescent nanodiamonds. Their advances in quantum sensing, single‐photon emission and biomedicine are discussed, and existing challenges and future directions are presented.

Synthesis of Chiral Gold Nanostructures on Gold‐Coral‐Coated Transparent Conductive Oxide Substrates via [AuCl4]– and Cysteine Interactions for Enhanced Chiral Sensing

We developed hierarchical chiral Au nanostructures on Au coral structures on transparent conductive oxide substrates using only electrochemical methods. By controlling the interaction between [AuCl4]– and cysteine, we successfully tuned the morphology and circular dichroism of the resulting Au nanostructures.

Sm3+‐doped α‐NaLuF4 and β‐NaLuF4 were synthesized. The X‐ray‐activated persistent luminescence abilities and afterglow properties can be well controlled. Hj‐aggregates of quinoline‐fused boron‐dipyrromethene nanoparticles for near‐infrared dualmodal photodynamic and photothermal therapy

A novel quinoline‐fused cyclic pyrrole is synthesized via lithium diisopropylamide‐catalyzed [3 + 2] cyclization, enabling the construction of a symmetrical boron‐dipyrromethene photosensitizer that forms Hj‐aggregates upon nanoparticle encapsulation.
