Hose pipe colon due to massive peritoneal metastasis
The British Journal of Radiology, 1980A “hose pipe” appearance due to general shortening and narrowing of the colon is a typical finding in idiopathic ulcerative colitis, and less commonly in Crohn's colitis. It usually occurs after many years and several attacks of widespread disease. It has not been previously reported in any condition other than widespread inflammatory colitis.
