Annals of Gastroenterological Surgery, EarlyView.Prospectively determined clinical T and N categories clearly stratified long‐term survival in locally advanced gastric cancer. Patients with cT3N+, cT4aN0, cT4aN+, and cT4b disease showed unfavorable prognosis despite standard treatment. These findings may help optimize patient selection for perioperative treatment strategies.
