Regional brain atlas for assessment of enlarged perivascular spaces [PDF]
This dataset contains a reference brain-extracted T1-weighted structural magnetic resonance image, representative of a normal brain from an individual in the first half of the 80th decade of life (70 to 75 years old), and the correspondent binary masks ...

Perivascular space dysfunction in cerebral small vessel disease is related to neuroinflammation. [PDF]
Enlarged perivascular spaces are a feature of cerebral small vessel disease, and it has been hypothesized that they may reflect impaired glymphatic drainage.

A case report and literature review on giant tumefactive perivascular spaces
BackgroundPerivascular spaces (PVS) are fluid-filled cavities located in the brain that surround blood vessels. Dilated PVS (dPVS) can be discerned on MRI in healthy individuals.

We developed an ultrasound‐controlled biomimetic nanoplatform, mRNA/V@M NPs, to co‐deliver CD74 mRNA and V‐9302 for fibrotic TNBC therapy. CD74 mRNA reprograms myCAFs into antigen‐presenting apCAF cells through the CD74‐MHC II pathway, while V‐9302 induces ICD and activates MHC I‐CD8+ T cell immunity.

The study establishes an immune‐cure (ICu) mouse model based on a TMEMed G422TN‐GBM system that faithfully recapitulates human TMEMed GBM. scRNA‐seq analysis reveals a Csmd3+ microglial subset with innate immune memory (IIM) potential that potently suppresses GBM growth, drives a TME cold‐to‐hot transition, and induces 100% ICu in long‐term survival ...

Vascular Aβ40 corrupts GRP78 phase behavior in brain endothelial cells, sustaining IRE1α–TRAF2–JNK signaling and driving apoptosis, tight junction loss, and blood–brain barrier failure in cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Pharmacological IRE1α inhibition restores vascular integrity, reduces leakage, and improves functional outcomes, revealing a targetable ...

POEMS Syndrome: 2026 Update on Diagnosis, Risk‐Stratification, and Management
ABSTRACT Disease Overview POEMS syndrome is a life‐threatening syndrome due to an underlying plasma cell neoplasm. The major criteria for the syndrome are polyneuropathy, clonal plasma cell disorder (PCD), sclerotic bone lesions, elevated vascular endothelial growth factor, and the presence of Castleman disease.

In this study, we primarily simulated pathological myocardial remodeling induced by transverse aortic constriction surgery and found significant cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis, characterized by deteriorated cardiac function. Oxidative stress response is considered as a pivotal pathological process, which contributes to inflammation and apoptosis of ...

Structural changes in the thymus in the anabolic phase after exposure to experimental hyperthermia
In the anabolic phase of postoperational period, restoration of the structure of the blood-thymic thymus barrier, reduced edema of perivascular and interstitial spaces in in the thymus barrier, and emergence of a large number of epithelial cells with ...

Acute ischemic stroke due to large vessel occlusion is associated with rapid intravascular immune activation. Analysis of arterial blood sampled distal to the thrombus during mechanical thrombectomy revealed increased extracellular adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and interleukin‐1β (IL‐1β) levels, evidence of inflammasome priming in monocytes, and ...
