Pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAAD) remains highly lethal with limited treatment options. This study demonstrates that coixenolide, a bioactive compound from Coix lacryma‐jobi L. and a key component of the clinically approved Kanglaite injection, exhibits enhanced antitumor efficacy in high‐fat diet (HFD)‐induced obese mice bearing PAAD tumors compared to

Quantitative spatiotemporal mapping of lipid and protein oxidation in mayonnaise
Lipid oxidation in food emulsions is mediated by emulsifiers in the water phase and at the oil–water interface. To unravel the physico-chemical mechanisms and to obtain local lipid and protein oxidation rates, we used confocal laser scanning microscopy ...

Methane oxidation and emission in Lake Lugano (Southern Switzerland) : a lipid biomarker and isotopic approach [PDF]
Methane is an important greenhouse gas in Earth's atmosphere. The sources of atmospheric methane are largely biogenic, being produced under anoxic conditions by methanogenic Archaea.

This study uncovers hierarchical coordination between K11 lactylation and S199 phosphorylation of CKB in cerebral ischemia‐reperfusion injury. Such dual modifications potentiate CKB enzymatic function, remodel energy metabolism, alleviate oxidative stress and neuronal damage, and represent a viable therapeutic target for stroke treatment.

Lipid oxidation in females during the postexercise recovery period: one vs. two bouts of exercise
Research has shown that there is a difference in postexercise substrate (lipid\ud and carbohydrate) oxidation rates and duration during one bout of exercise, most notably,\ud an increase in lipid oxidation when compared to rest.
