Porous Poly(Poly[Ethylene Glycol] Methyl Ether Methacrylate) Gel Polymer Electrolyte With Superior Electrochemical Properties in a High‐Performance Potassium‐Ion Battery

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
A photopolymerized porous gel polymer electrolyte shows superior ionic conductivity of 2.9 × 10−2 S cm−1, t+ of 0.88, high electrochemical stability of > 6 V, an initial capacity of 155 mAh g−1, an initial Coulombic efficiency of ~100%, and capacity retention of 99.9% after 100 cycles at 5 C.

Porous Polymer Electrolytes Based on Poly(Methyl Methacrylate) for Sodium Ion Battery

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
Porous polymer electrolyte based on PMMA is developed for sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs) using a solvent etching technique. The impact of porosity on key electrochemical properties, including ionic conductivity, electrochemical stability, and cycling performance, is also systematically investigated.

Use of LC‐MS to characterize host cell protein removal during depth filtration

open access: yesBiotechnology Progress, EarlyView.
Abstract The removal of host cell proteins (HCPs) is crucial in biopharmaceutical production, as residual impurities can impact product safety and efficacy. While a number of studies have demonstrated that depth filtration can provide significant HCP removal, there is little information on its effectiveness in removing specific HCPs.

Simvastatin overcomes the pPCK1‐pLDHA‐SPRINGlac axis‐mediated ferroptosis and chemo‐immunotherapy resistance in AKT‐hyperactivated intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma

open access: yesCancer Communications, EarlyView.
Abstract Background Intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC) is a challenging cancer with an increasing incidence. The Phase III TOPAZ‐1/KEYNOTE‐966 study demonstrated chemo‐immunotherapy (CIT) as a significant advancement, potentially replacing traditional chemotherapy for advanced biliary tract cancer.
