Reduction of phosphine oxides to phosphines
Tetrahedron Letters, 2019Abstract The digest is devoted to the most widespread reducing agents which are used for the reduction of tertiary and secondary phosphine oxides, phospholene oxides, phospholane oxides, phosphonates, phosphinates, α- and β-hydroxy and thiomethyl phosphine oxides, α-aminophosphine oxides. Stereoselectivity of reactions is described.

Tris(pyrazolyl)phosphine Oxide and Tris(triazolyl)phosphine Oxide Scorpion Ligands
European Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, 2013AbstractDFT calculations were performed on copper(I) complexes of neutral scorpion ligands based on either pyrazolyl (Pz) or triazolyl (Tz) rings with both methane and phosphine oxide apexes, that is, HC(Pz)3, OP(Pz)3, HC(Tz)3, and OP(Tz)3. The analyses reveal that all four ligands have similar donor properties and that their differences are easily ...

New Dimethyl(Methylenoxyaryl)Phosphine Oxides
Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1990Abstract From dimethyl-chloromethyl-phosphine oxides and sodium phenolates of the corresponding mono-, di-and triphenols are prepared by the Williamson reaction new dimethyl(methyleneoxyaryl)phosphine oxides containing one, two or three phosphoryl groups.

Optically active phosphine oxides. 5. P-chiral 2-aminoethyl phosphine oxides
Tetrahedron Letters, 1988Abstract Homochiral 2-aminoethyl phosphine oxides are expeditiously prepared by thermal addition of primary and secondary amines to (−)-(S)-methylphenylvinylphosphine oxide. Their transformation into optically active 2-aminoethyl phosphines and 2-aminoethyl phosphine sulphides is exemplified.

Inorganic Chemistry, 2013
A one-pot, multicomponent, coordination-driven self-assembly approach was used to synthesize the first examples of neutral bridging phosphine oxide donor-based supramolecular coordination complexes. The complexes were self-assembled from a fac-Re(CO)3 acceptor, an anionic bridging O donor, and a neutral soft phosphine or hard phosphine oxide donor.

Phosphine vs. phosphine oxide ligands in hydroformylation reactions
Journal of the Chemical Society, Chemical Communications, 1994In the hydroformylation of styrene catalysed by rhodium complexes, mixed amino phosphine oxide ligands show high reactivity and selectivity for the formation of the branched aldehyde.
