[Analysis phylogenetic relationship of Gynostemma (Cucurbitaceae)].
Zhongguo Zhong yao za zhi = Zhongguo zhongyao zazhi = China journal of Chinese materia medica, 2015The sequences of ITS, matK, rbcL and psbA-trnH of 9 Gynostemma species or variety including 38 samples were compared and analyzed by molecular phylogeny method. Hemsleya macrosperma was designated as outgroup. The MP and NJ phylogenetic tree of Gynostemma was built based on ITS sequence, the results of PAUP phylogenetic analysis showed the following ...

Phylogenetic analysis of anthropoid relationships
Journal of Human Evolution, 1998The relationships of anthropoids to other primates are currently debated, as are the relationships among early fossil anthropoids and crown anthropoids. To resolve these issues, data on 291 morphological characters were collected for 57 taxa of living and fossil primates and analyzed using PAUP and MacClade.

Comparative mitochondrial genome analysis and phylogenetic relationship among lepidopteran species
Gene, 2022Lepidoptera has rich species including many agricultural pests and economical insects around the world. The mitochondrial genomes (mitogenomes) were utilized to explore the phylogenetic relationships between difference taxonomic levels in Lepidoptera.

THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN EVOLUTIONARY THEORY AND PHYLOGENETIC ANALYSIS
Biological Reviews of the Cambridge Philosophical Society, 1997ABSTRACTThe relationship between phylogenetic reconstruction and evolutionary theory is reassessed. It is argued here that phylogenies, and evolutionary principles, should be analysed initially as independently from each other as possible. Only then can they be used to test one another.

Multigene analysis of lophophorate and chaetognath phylogenetic relationships
Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 2008Maximum likelihood and Bayesian inference analyses of seven concatenated fragments of nuclear-encoded housekeeping genes indicate that Lophotrochozoa is monophyletic, i.e., the lophophorate groups Bryozoa, Brachiopoda and Phoronida are more closely related to molluscs and annelids than to Deuterostomia or Ecdysozoa.

The SecY Protein Family: Comparative Analysis and Phylogenetic Relationships
Molecular Phylogenetics and Evolution, 1994We have cloned and sequenced the plastome encoded secY homologue of the cryptomonad alga Pyrenomonas salina. In this study we have carried out a comparative analysis of all but one fully sequenced proteins of the SecY family. We present an alignment of 16 SecY family proteins, containing family signatures, putative transmembrane domains, consensus ...
