ERECTA‐family receptor kinases: versatile regulators of plant developmental signaling
Significance Statement How plant cells coordinate developmental patterning remains a fundamental question in biology. This review synthesizes current knowledge of how ERECTA‐family receptors interpret spatiotemporal peptide cues to regulate diverse developmental processes, highlighting mechanisms of receptor activation, signal transduction, subcellular

Differential strengths of selection on S-RNases from
Background The S-RNases of the Solanaceae are highly polymorphic self-incompatibility (S-) alleles subject to strong balancing selection. Relatively recent diversification of S-alleles has occurred in the genus Physalis following a historical restriction

New strategies of traceability for determining the geographical origin of foodstuffs: Creation biological bar-code by (PCR-DGGE) [PDF]
The determination of geographical origin is a demand of the traceability system of import-export foodstuff. One hypothesis of tracing the source of a product is by analyzing in a global way the microbial communities of the food and links statistically ...

Dominant Species Drive Biomass and Diversity Responses to Nutrient Inputs
In a mesic grassland co‐limited by nitrogen and phosphorus, responses in plant community diversity and particularly of dominant species do not always correspond to responses in aboveground net primary productivity and functional group biomass production.

NPK Fertilization at Planting for Physalis (Physalis peruviana L.)
Physalis peruviana L. (Solanaceae) is an Andean shrub species that produces sugary fruits. The cultivation of this species is recent, thus, aspects related to soil fertilization for it still need to bestudied. The objective of this work was to define the rates of NPK fertilizer applied at planting thatmeet the requirements of physalis crops.
