Acta Radiologica, 1995Iodixanol, the radiopaque in Visipaque, is a new nonionic, dimeric roentgen contrast medium for intravascualr use. Compared to aqueous solutions of nonionic monomers, which have higher osmolality than blood, aqueous solutions of iodixanol have a lower osmolality due to dimeric structure of the molecule.

Determination of physicochemical properties of tetrabromobisphenol A
Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, 2008Abstract Aqueous solubility (Sw), 1-octanol/water partition coefficient (KOW), and vapor pressure of the nonionic form of 2,2′,6,6′-tetrabromo-4,4′-isopropylidenediphenol (tetrabromobisphenol A or TBBP-A) were measured. From this, enthalpies of solution and vaporization were estimated.
