ABSTRACT This study examined the effect of biological fluids (saliva, blood plasma, and urine) on the antioxidant capacity of an aqueous extract derived from Arbutus unedo leaves. The extract displayed a concentration‐dependent reducing activity in the ferric reducing power assay (IC50 = 292 ± 7.54 µg/mL) and phosphomolybdenum assays (IC50 = 461.67 ± 4.

Pharmacokinetic interactions between Echinacea and two antiviral drugs, favipiravir and atazanavir, were assessed in rats. The findings suggest that Echinacea does not significantly affect the pharmacokinetics of favipiravir and atazanavir. These results provide preliminary evidence that concurrent use of Echinacea with these antiviral drugs may be ...

Synthesis of Chiral‐at‐Sulfur(VI) Sulfonimidamide Brønsted Acids
A simple, modular route to chiral‐at‐sulfur(VI) Brønsted acids is described, delivering S‐chiral sulfonimidamides, C2‐symmetric acids, and BINOL‐based hybrid systems through stereospecific reactions of sulfonimidoyl fluorides and chlorides. ABSTRACT Herein, we report an efficient and simple strategy to access diverse chiral‐at‐sulfur(VI) Brønsted acids.
