Self-Tuning Neural Network PID With Dynamic Response Control
PID controllers are widely used and adaptable to various types of systems. However, for the response to be adequate under different conditions, the PID gains must be adjusted. The tuning is made according to the difference between the reference value and

PID control of electrodes movements in submerged arc furnaces [PDF]

Trajectory tracking control for mecanum wheel mobile robot by time-varying parameter PID controller
This paper presents the design method a proportional integral derivative (PID) controller with time-varying parameters for trajectory tracking of a mecanum-wheeled robot with a minor error.

PID-GM: PID Control with Gain Mapping
Proportional-Integral-Differential (PID) control is widely used in industrial control systems. However, up to now there are at least two open problems related with PID control. One is to have a comprehensive understanding of its robustness with respect to model uncertainties and disturbances. The other is to build intuitive, explicit and mathematically

Do not let thermal drift and instrument artifacts deceive high‐temperature nanoindentation results. We compare classical Oliver–Pharr and automatic image recognition analyses across steels and a Ni alloy to quantify these effects. Accounting for artifacts reveals systematic softening with temperature, while Cr and Ni additions boost resistance ...

Multivariable predictive PID control for quadruple tank
In this paper multivariable predictive PID controller has been implemented on a multi-inputs multi-outputs control problem i.e., quadruple tank system, in comparison with a simple multiloop PI controller.

Optimizing stability bounds of finite-precision PID controller structures [PDF]
The paper investigates a recently derived lower bound stability measure for sampled-data controller structures subject to finite-word-length (FWL) constraints. The optimal realization of the digital PID controller with FWL considerations is formulated as

Ultrasensitive Anti‐Stokes Luminescence Thermometry in Transition Metal Dichalcogenide Monolayers
We demonstrate a highly sensitive nanothermometer using anti‐Stokes photoluminescence, also known as photoluminescence upconversion (UPL), in monolayer tungsten disulfide. A strong resonantly enhanced UPL is observed, confirming the central role of optical phonons in the PL upconversion mechanism.
