Influence of Top Electrode Metal on Resistive Switching in Multilayer MOCVD MoS2 Memristors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
MoS2 memristors typically use evaporated noble metal electrodes. This study compares Pd, Ni, and Al electrodes and sputtered versus evaporated deposition. Pd is passive, while Ni damages MoS2, yielding poor switching. Sputtered Al enables reproducible ECM‐type switching with 95% yield, whereas evaporated Al forms an interfacial oxide that suppresses ...

PIDs, no longer Terminal[al/us]

open access: yes, 2023
Over the course of their evolution, persistent identifiers (PIDs) have been primarily associated with static “research objects”, the most well-known being the DOI, Digital Object Identifier.

A Computational Approach for Biomimetic Design of Liver‐On‐A‐Chip

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A biomimetic liver‐on‐a‐chip with antiparallel perfusion was designed using COMSOL‐guided simulation to replicate hepatic acinus transport. Full‐scale modelling revealed diffusion‐dominated, length‐dependent nutrient gradients and low‐shear conditions.

Self‐Driving Laboratory Optimizes the Lower Critical Solution Temperature of Thermoresponsive Polymers

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
A low‐cost, self‐driving laboratory is developed to democratize autonomous materials discovery. Using this "frugal twin" hardware architecture with Bayesian optimization, the platform rapidly converges to target lower critical solution temperature (LCST) values while self‐correcting from off‐target experiments, demonstrating an accessible route to data‐

Inherited Immunodeficiencies With High Predisposition to Epstein–Barr Virus-Driven Lymphoproliferative Diseases

open access: yesFrontiers in Immunology, 2018
Epstein–Barr Virus (EBV) is a gamma-herpes virus that infects 90% of humans without any symptoms in most cases, but has an oncogenic potential, especially in immunocompromised individuals.
