Nonlocomotory Robotic Strategies for Dynamic Rotation Control in Terrestrial Robots: A Review

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
Terrestrial robots increasingly require rapid body rotation to maintain stability and agility in complex environments. This review shows nonlocomotory rotational control strategies that operate without ground contact, including reaction wheels, tails, bars, limbs, and thrusters.

Cutaneous Manifestations of Primary Immunodeficiency Diseases in Children

open access: yesIranian Journal of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, 2006
Primary immunodeficiency diseases (PIDs) are rare but include severe conditions found predominantly in children, Most PIDs have cutaneous manifestations that may be important as early diagnostic features.

Biomaterials and Biological Parameters for Fixed-Prosthetic Implant-Supported Restorations: A Review Study

open access: yesAdvances in Materials Science and Engineering, 2022
Because of the increasing use of dental implants, dental practitioners should understand the treatment and nature of peri-implant diseases (PIDs). This disease is a serious problem of dentistry, regarding epidemiology and therapy.

Tumbling Magnetic Microrobots for Targeted In Vivo Drug Delivery in the GI Tract

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
We introduce a microrobot design and integrated system for on‐demand targeted drug release in the gastrointestinal tract. The microrobot has an embedded magnet for actuation with external magnetic fields and is visualized in real time using ultrasound. It has two drug release ports sealed with a thermally sensitive wax. Local heating of the wax using a

Autoimmune manifestations in primary immunodeficiencies

open access: yesСовременная ревматология
According to current understanding of the mechanisms underlying primary immunodeficiencies (PIDs) and their clinical course, there is a clear and clinically significant association between this group of disorders and autoimmune manifestations (AIMs).This

Wavelet PID and Wavenet PID: Theory and Applications

open access: yes, 2012
We introduce in this chapter a new area in PID controllers, which is called multiresolution PID (MRPID). Basically, a MRPID controller uses wavelet theory for the decomposition of the tracking error signal. We present a general error function in terms of partial errors which gives us the various frequencies appearing in the general errors.

A State‐Adaptive Koopman Control Framework for Real‐Time Deformable Tool Manipulation in Robotic Environmental Swabbing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a state‐adaptive Koopman linear quadratic regulator framework for real‐time manipulation of a deformable swab tool in robotic environmental sampling. By combining Koopman linearization, tactile sensing, and centroid‐based force regulation, the system maintains stable contact forces and high coverage across flat and inclined surfaces.
