Mechanisms of Degradation in Li‐Ion Batteries Under Low Temperature Exposures
Low‐temperature exposures, or freeze‐thaw cycles, are observed to significantly accelerate the degradation of Li‐ion batteries. A combination of electrolyte phase separation and mechanochemical stress leads to reversible and irreversible performance losses.

A lateral signalling pathway coordinates shape volatility during cell migration
Migrating cells display dynamic morphologies that are coordinated by signalling pathways. Here the authors identify a lateral signalling pathway, comprised of the planar cell polarity protein Pk1 and Arhgap21/23, that regulates fluctuations in cell shape

Multifunctional solid polymer electrolyte (SPE) films integrating intrinsic self‐healing, mechanical stretchability, and dual photo‐ and pH‐responsive ionic conductivity are developed. Constructed from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and hydrogen‐bonded poly(thiourea triethylene glycol) (PTUEG3), these films form a dynamic supramolecular network ...

A meniscus‐guided microtransfer molding strategy enables scalable fabrication of grid‐type molecular martensite films with b‐axis‐correlated preferential texture. Sequential growth across microchannel intersections creates structurally continuous grids and robust thermoelastic actuation (∼11% strain, > 50 cycles, maximum force density: 7.1 × 109 N m−3).

Centriole Translational Planar Polarity in Monociliated Epithelia
Ciliated epithelia are widespread in animals and play crucial roles in many developmental and physiological processes. Epithelia composed of multi-ciliated cells allow for directional fluid flow in the trachea, oviduct and brain cavities.

Molecular rotors are fluorescent molecules that are sensitive to viscosity and temperature variations in the environment. They exhibit a direct correlation between fluorescence and viscosity within Newtonian fluids. However, this correlation becomes less straightforward in complex systems.

Tailored Diketopyrrolopyrrole Derivatives for Efficient Deep‐Red Organic Lasers
Tailored diketopyrrolopyrrole derivatives exhibit high stable amplified spontaneous emission with single or dual bands. Incorporated into distributed‐feedback lasers based on one‐ and two‐dimensional dichromated‐gelatin diffractive gratings, these materials provide a robust, flexible platform for integrated organic deep‐red light sources.
