Abstract High blood concentrations of the naturally occurring polyamines have been reported in leukemia, psoriasis, cystic fibrosis and polycythemia rubra vera. Spermidine and spermine inhibit in vitro plate-let aggregation of platelet rich plasma preparations in which ADP and Ristocetin are the agglutinating agents.
