Wafer‐Scale Bi2O2Se‐on‐Insulator Thin Films for Integrated Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale, thickness‐controlled semiconducting Bi2O2Se thin films were grown on 2‐inch insulating sapphire substrates via magnetron sputtering using quasi‐van der Waals epitaxy. The uniform films enable large‐scale fabrication of top‐gated TFT arrays with stable enhancement‐mode operation and functional inverter, NAND, and NOR logic gates.

SPICE‐Compatible Compact Modeling of Cuprate‐Based Memristors Across a Wide Temperature Range

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
A physics‐guided compact model for YBCO memristors is introduced, incorporating carrier trapping, field‐induced detrapping, and a differential balance equation to describe their switching dynamics. The model is compared with experiments and implemented in LTspice, allowing realistic circuit‐level simulations.

Advancing Energy Materials by In Situ Atomic Scale Methods

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, Volume 15, Issue 11, March 18, 2025.
Progress in in situ atomic scale methods leads to an improved understanding of new and advanced energy materials, where a local understanding of complex, inhomogeneous systems or interfaces down to the atomic scale and quantum level is required. Topics from photovoltaics, dissipation losses, phase transitions, and chemical energy conversion are ...

Fabrication of Composite Cathode for All‐Solid‐State Sodium Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
The design of composite cathodes for all‐solid‐state sodium batteries must address three critical challenges—interfacial side reactions, interfacial delamination, and highly tortuous transport pathways. This work outlines structural and interfacial strategies to optimize ion transport and mechanical stability, enabling durable, and high‐performance ...

Pegylated liposomal doxorubicin does not affect cardiac function in patients treated for gynecologic malignancies

open access: yesGynecologic Oncology Reports
Objective: Although pegylated liposomal doxorubicin (PLD) has a more favorable side-effect profile compared to doxorubicin, the FDA label for PLD includes a warning listing cardiotoxicity.

In Situ Measurement of Oxygen Vacancy Dynamics and Surface Exchange Reactions in Oxide Electrode under Solid Electrochemical Cell Operating Conditions

open access: yesAdvanced Energy Materials, EarlyView.
This study establishes an in situ electrochemical framework using dense bulk electrodes to identify defect chemistry and surface kinetics. While oxygen vacancy concentration is derived via bias modulation, surface exchange coefficients are quantified at open circuit voltage conditions to isolate kinetics.

Exploring Quantum Support Vector Regression for Predicting Hydrogen Storage Capacity of Nanoporous Materials

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
In this study we employed support vector regressor and quantum support vector regressor to predict the hydrogen storage capacity of metal–organic frameworks using structural and physicochemical descriptors. This study presents a comparative analysis of classical support vector regression (SVR) and quantum support vector regression (QSVR) in predicting ...

Topology‐Aware Machine Learning for High‐Throughput Screening of MOFs in C8 Aromatic Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
We screened 15,335 Computation‐Ready, Experimental Metal–Organic Frameworks (CoRE‐MOFs) using a topology‐aware machine learning (ML) model that integrates structural, chemical, pore‐size, and topological descriptors. Top‐performing MOFs exhibit aromatic‐enriched cavities and open metal sites that enable π–π and C–H···π interactions, serving as ...
