Galangin possess wide range of pharmacological activities including antiarthritic, hepatoprotective, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anticancer especially in hepatocellular carcinoma. However, its biological use has been limited owing to its poor aqueous solubility, P-gp efflux and rapid in vivo metabolism by cytochrome enzymes.
