The Effect of Actinomycin D on the Lethality of Poly I:C
The Journal of Immunology, 1971Abstract Poly I:C, a synthetic double-stranded RNA composed of polyinosinic and polycytidylic acids, has become the subject of intense investigation because of its capacity to induce interferon formation and exert antineoplastic activity in experimental animals (1–4).

Poly I:C/Poly-L-Lysine: Potent Inducer of Interferons in Primates
Journal of Interferon Research, 1981A soluble complex of poly I:C and poly-L-lysine (poly I:C/poly-L-lysine) has been prepared that induces high titers of circulating interferon in monkeys. By limiting the molar ratio of lysine to nucleotide to 0.5, a complex was formed that was soluble up to 2.0 mg poly I:C/ml of phosphate-buffered saline.
