2b-RAD genotyping for population genomic studies of Chagas disease vectors: Rhodnius ecuadoriensis in Ecuador [PDF]
Background: Rhodnius ecuadoriensis is the main triatomine vector of Chagas disease, American trypanosomiasis, in Southern Ecuador and Northern Peru.

ABSTRACT Treatment‐associated hepatotoxicity (TAH) is a common complication of pediatric acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) treatment, but genetic risk factors remain poorly understood. We evaluated the SOD2 rs4880 variant in 544 children with ALL at Texas Children's Hospital. After adjusting for demographic and clinical covariates, the rs4880 C allele

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Two novel co-crystals of naproxen (NPX) were designed and prepared at a stoichiometric ratio of 1:1, namely, naproxen–caprolactam (NPX–CPL) and naproxen–oxymatrine (NPX–OMT). The characteristics of the co-crystals were evaluated in terms of stability and

CO2 packing polymorphism under pressure: mechanism and thermodynamics of the I-III polymorphic transition [PDF]
In this work we describe the thermodynamics and mechanism of CO$_2$ polymorphic transitions under pressure from form I to form III combining standard molecular dynamics, well-tempered metadynamics and committor analysis.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Heavily acceptor-doped Cu2SnS3 (CTS) shows promisingly large power factor (PF) due to its rather high electrical conductivity (σ) which causes a modest ZT with a high electronic thermal conductivity (κe).

Type Inference for Deadlock Detection in a Multithreaded Polymorphic Typed Assembly Language [PDF]
We previously developed a polymorphic type system and a type checker for a multithreaded lock-based polymorphic typed assembly language (MIL) that ensures that well-typed programs do not encounter race conditions.
