In 2009‐2014, new glass panels were produced by the Stained‐Glass Studio of Canterbury Cathedral (UK) and installed in St Peter's Church (Little Barrington, Burford), St Lawrence's Church (Mereworth, Kent), and Canterbury Cathedral. After a few years, some spots and stains have appeared on the greenish areas of the panels.

Recovering high‐contiguity, circular bacterial genomes from complex microbiomes (e.g., gut) is challenged by limitations of short‐read and error‐prone long‐read sequencing. This study comprehensively compares PacBio High‐Fidelity (HiFi) sequencing‐based metagenome‐assembled genomes (MAGs) against Illumina MAGs, Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) MAGs ...

ABSTRACT The increasing development and application of metal‐based materials in biomedical and environmental fields raise important concerns regarding their potential cytotoxic and genotoxic effects. Metal tungstates (MxWO4) and molybdates (MxMoO4) offer promising functional properties in health and environmental solutions but require safety validation

Bright‐field images of unstained smears. (1) Sparse erythrocytes allow straightforward intensity‐ or phase‐based segmentation. (2) Overlapping cells blur boundaries, causing over‐ or under‐segmentation and lowering rule‐based accuracy, thus motivating overlap‐aware algorithms for reliable downstream feature extraction and classification. ABSTRACT Blood
