Abstract Background Disease in primary care frequently represents a surveillance blind spot, particularly for diseases affecting farm animals. Methods Electronic health records (EHRs) were collected from four farm animal veterinary practices in Wales (February 2024‒January 2025) as part of a pilot study.

Staphylococcus aureus, commonly colonising CTCL patients, augments skin barrier dysfunction. Staphylococcal enterotoxins induce T‐cell release of barrier‐repressing cytokines (IL‐4, IL‐13, IL‐22, OSM). Cytokine signalling drives JAK‐dependent downregulation of filaggrin and loricrin in keratinocytes. Antibiotic‐mediated eradication of S. aureus induces

Exposure to 305 nm PP NPs significantly disrupts the airway barrier‐on‐chip, reducing TEER, suppressing ZO‐1/ACE2 expression, and triggering ROS‐mediated apoptosis. In biological media, PP NPs exhibit a biphasic adsorption pattern, leading to the formation of a protein corona that increases their size to 364 nm.

Purification, Characterization and in vitro Evaluation of Polymyxin A From Paenibacillus dendritiformis: An Underexplored Member of the Polymyxin Family [PDF]
Nosocomial infections caused by antibiotic-resistant Gram-negative pathogens are of grave concern today. Polymyxins are considered as the last resorts of therapy to treat these multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacteria.

Background and Purpose α‐Synucleinopathies are neurodegenerative disorders characterized by the aggregation and propagation of misfolded α‐synuclein. In Parkinson's disease (PD), the most common α‐synucleinopathy, the progression of motor and nonmotor deficits, and dopaminergic neuron loss, are closely linked to the spreading of misfolded α‐synuclein ...
