Reduction and tensammetric pulse-polarographic currents of polynucleotides
The behaviour of electrochemically reducible single-strand polynucleotides (poly(adenylic acid)) and poly(cytidylic acid)) was studied by the differential (derivative) pulse polarography (DPP) and by other methods.

5‐Substituted 2‐(naphthalen‐2‐yl)‐4H‐chromen‐4‐ones are reported as a novel class of highly potent and selective triplex DNA ligands. These ligands induce triplex formation at submicromolar concentrations and inhibit enzymatic activity via ligand‐mediated triplex formation.

Double standard polynucleotides: two typical alternative conformations for nucleic acids [PDF]
Two typical alternative conformations for double strandee polynucleotides with Watson-Crick base pairing scheme are presented. these types avoid tangling of the chains. Representative models of these types with two different views, to show the similarity

Here, we demonstrate that polysaccharide chain length regulation plays a distinct role in enabling formation of a cyclic molecule important for the bacterial cell surface. However, this function is necessary, but not sufficient for the cyclic molecule's biosynthesis.

Abstract The primary objective is to critically analyze approaches to local therapy for periodontal disease, particularly in light of its well‐established systemic implications. We specifically address common misconceptions and overestimations regarding the potential of local treatments in contrast to their actual clinical effectiveness.
