CARRIER SIGNAL INJECTION BASED SENSORLESS CONTROL OF PERMANENT MAGNET BRUSHLESS AC MACHINES [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis is focused on the carrier signal injection based sensorless control of Permanent Magnet (PM) Brushless AC (BLAC) machines. Based on the machine saliency property, carrier signal injection based sensorless techniques have been well developed ...

Position-heading quadrotor control using LPV techniques

open access: yes, 2019
This work presents a solution for the position-heading control problem of a small quadrotor. The main idea of this paper is to exploit the advantages of the Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) control approach, together with a feedback linearization approach,

Structural instability impairs function of the UDP‐xylose synthase 1 Ile181Asn variant associated with short‐stature genetic syndrome in humans

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

DC MOTOR ANGULAR POSITION CONTROL SYSTEM USING ARDUINO PLATFORM [PDF]

open access: yes
The objective of this paper is to realize an angular position control system with a direct current motor. For this purpose, an Arduino microcontroller board is used to control the LS-25GA370 DC motor.

Barrier-Lyapunov-Function-Based Backstepping Adaptive Hybrid Force/Position Control for Manipulator with Force and Position Constraints [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
In this paper, we present a backstepping adaptive hybrid force/position control based on Barrier Lyapunov Function for a robotic manipulator to prevent constraint violation of applied force and position simultaneously.

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Hybrid force/position control investigation of parallel machine tool with redundant actuation

open access: yes, 2011
A novel redundantly actuated parallel machine tool was introduced. The inverse kinematic of 5-UPS/PRPU PMT with redundant actuation was analysed and the driven force of redundant actuation limb was planned.

Position control for intelligent pneumatic actuator using generalized minimum variance control [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
Pneumatic actuators are finding increasing acceptance these days due to their low cost, ease of maintenance and moderately high power to weight ratio.

Position Output Adaptive Backstepping Control of Electro-Hydraulic Servo Closed-Pump Control System

open access: yes, 2021
A nonlinear adaptive backstepping control method was proposed to address the system parameter uncertainty problem in the position control process of an electro-hydraulic servo closed-pump control system.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
