Metabolism of Pregnenolone and Pregnenolone Sulphate in Benign Essential Hypertension

Patients with benign essential hypertension excreted in their urine less of the radioactive label associated with the injected tracer 3H-pregnenolone sulphate than control subjects, but more of the label associated with the 14C-pregnenolone tracer. In both groups, there was no difference in the urinary production rate of pregnenolone.
