Microbiota Signatures in Early Life and Their Association With Food Allergy: A Systematic Review
ABSTRACT Food allergy (FA) is increasing worldwide, and early life may be a critical window for immune training. We systematically reviewed observational human studies linking early‐life microbiota (infant, maternal, environmental, or extraintestinal) profiled using culture‐based and/or culture‐independent methods (including sequencing‐based approaches)

The Airway Transcriptome in Type 2 Cytokine Biomarker‐High and ‐Low Severe Asthma
This study distinguishes severe asthma–related airway transcriptomic changes from the effects of high‐dose ICS. Most dysregulated genes in severe asthma show concordance with corticosteroid responses. Corticosteroid‐resistant T2‐high asthma featured T2‐high and epithelial barrier gene upregulation, while T2‐low asthma featured Th1/IL‐17 signatures. ASM,

We assessed whether the maternal perinatal gut microbiome and serum SCFA and cord blood SCFA differ between traditional farming and urban dyads. Women following a farming lifestyle had increased microbial diversity, several differentially abundant bacterial species and functional pathways, and increased circulating SCFA. Overall maternal gut microbiome

Dietary Habits and Atopic Dermatitis Significantly Influence the Fecal Microbiome
Atopic dermatitis, dietary habits, sex, and BMI significantly influenced the fecal microbiome composition. On the species level, Faecalibacterium taiwanense was more abundant in atopic dermatitis, and Vescimonas sp000435555 was more abundant in the control population. On the genus level, CAG‐302 (NCBI: Clostridium) was more abundant in controls.

Gene expression of Ara h 2‐specific B cells over the course of the peanut OIT. Isotype of allergen‐specific B cells changes through OIT towards IgG4. Peanut OIT changes the gene expression of allergen‐specific memory B cells. OIT patients showed increased gene expression for regulatory B cells and immune regulation.
