Perfused prenodal lymphatics are constricted by prostaglandins
Prostaglandins may contribute to the control of lymph flow by affecting lymphatic vessel contractility. We measured the pressure in perfused prenodal lymphatic vessel in the paw of the anesthetized dog as affected by administration of prostaglandins E1,

Prostaglandins and Mucosal Defensive Mechanisms [PDF]
The first line of mucosa! defence includes the juxtamucosal unstirred layer/pH gradient and the apical surface of the luminal epithelial cells. Many damaging agents, including nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), can overwhelm these defences ...

G3BP1 Succinylation at K413 is Critical for Cardiac Function by Modulating PI3K‐AKT‐mTOR Signal Axis
Schematic illustrating the impact of G3BP1 succinylation at K413 on cardiac function. In the healthy human heart, G3BP1 succinylation maintains homeostatic mTOR signaling. In patients with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and heart failure (HF), G3BP1 de‐succinylation induces RagA expression and disrupts the binding of the TSC1/2 complex, leading to the ...

Human‐relevant methods are essential for modern chemical safety assessment. This study helps define the capabilities and boundaries of an in vitro testing battery for developmental neurotoxicity by exploring its biological applicability domain. By linking neurodevelopmental disease‐related pathways to key neurodevelopmental processes, the work enhances

Producing MSCs on rigid culture substrates induces a scar‐making phenotype, jeapordizing therapeutic success. ‘Tissue‐soft’ surfaces prevent MSC fibrogenesis and preserve regenerative traits. An epigenetic network, driven by HOXA11 and SALL1, maintains ‘soft memory’ by keeping chromatin open in relaxed MSCs, promoting anti‐fibrotic programs.

Isolation of leukotriene C4 from human seminal fluid
LTC4 was isolated and characterized from seminal fluid of seven human volunteers. A compound with a similar retention time to that of synthetic LTC4 was obtained using reverse-phase high performance liquid chromatography.
