The Effect of High-Protein Sunflower Concentrate Use in Broiler Chicken Feeding on Nutrient Digestibility and Feed Utilization Efficiency [PDF]

open access: yesТехнологія виробництва і переробки продуктів тваринництва
The study aimed to test the use of high-protein sunflower concentrate as an alternative plant protein in broiler chicken diets and to measure its effect on nutrient digestibility and feed efficiency. Four diets were compared: a control with soybean meal,

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Comparison of different protein sources on the phosphorus digestibility of soybean meal for broiler chickens determined using the regression method

open access: yesPoultry Science
: A study was conducted to evaluate the P digestibility in soybean meal (SBM) using the regression method with different basal diet that varied in protein sources. The treatments were organized in a 4 × 3 factorial arrangement, where 4 semipurified diets

Developmental programmes drive cellular plasticity, disease progression and therapy resistance in lung adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Sustainable Shrimp Feeding: Digestibility of Defatted Hermetia illucens Meal by In Vitro and In Vivo Methods

open access: yesAquaculture Nutrition
This study evaluated the digestibility of defatted black soldier fly larvae (BSFL, Hermetia illucens) meals as alternative protein sources to partially replace fish meal (FM) in blue shrimp (Penaeus stylirostris) diets.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

USP29‐regulated noncanonical stabilization of the hypoxia‐inducible factor‐α in aggressive prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic
